Dr. Biing-Seng Wu |
Chairman |
Dr. Biing-Seng Wu is the
chairman of our board of directors. Dr. Wu is also the
chairman of the board of directors of Himax
Technologies, Himax Taiwan, Himax Display, Himax
Analogic and Himax Imaging Inc. Prior to the
reorganization at Himax Technologies, Dr. Wu served as
president, chief executive officer and a director of
Himax Taiwan and chairman, president and chief executive
officer of Himax Display. Dr. Wu is also a director of
Himax Anyang and serves as a director, executive vice
president and chief technology officer of CMO, a TFT-LCD
panel manufacturer, and a director of Chi Lin Technology
Co., Ltd., an electronics manufacturing service
provider, Chi Mei El Corp., an OLED company, and Nexgen
Mediatech Inc., a TFT-LCD television manufacturer. Dr.
Wu has been active in the TFT-LCD panel industry for
over 20 years and is a member of the boards of the
Taiwan TFT-LCD Association and the Society for
Information Display. Prior to joining CMO in 1998, Dr.
Wu was senior director and plant director of Prime View
International Co., Ltd. a TFT-LCD panel manufacturer,
from 1993 to 1997, and a manager of Thin Film Technology
Development at the Electronics Research & Service
Organization/Industry Technology Research Institute (ERSO/ITRI),
of Taiwan. Dr. Wu holds a B.S. degree, an M.S. degree
and a Ph.D. degree in electrical
engineering from National Cheng Kung University. |

Jordan Wu |
Director |
Jordan Wu
is a Director on our board and our president and Chief Executive
Officer. Mr. Wu
served as the chairman of the board of directors of
Himax Taiwan, a position that he held since April 2003.
Mr. Wu is also the chairman of the board of directors of Wisepal and Integrated Microdisplays and a director of
Himax Taiwan, Himax Display, Himax Analogic, Himax
Samoa, Himax Anyang, Himax Shenzhen, Himax Suzhou and
Himax Imaging Ltd. Prior to joining Himax Taiwan, Mr. Wu
served as chief executive officer of TV Plus
Technologies, Inc. and chief financial officer and
executive director of DVN Holdings Ltd. in Hong Kong.
Prior to that, he was an investment banker at Merrill
Lynch (Asia Pacific) Limited, Barclays de Zoete Wedd
(Asia) Limited and Baring Securities, based in Hong Kong
and Taipei. Mr. Wu holds a B.S. degree in mechanical
engineering from National Taiwan University and an
M.B.A. degree from the University of Rochester. |

Dr. Sergi Lin |
Director |
Dr. Sergi Lin is
the Co-Founder, Chief Technology Office and Director
on our board. Prior to Himax Imaging,
Dr. Lin was the Principal
Sensor Designer at ESS Technology where he successfully
led the company's first 4T and
4T-shared sensor development. Prior to ESS Technology,
Dr. Lin was a Senior Research Scientist and Design
Engineer at Biomorphic VLSI where he led the company's
2MP sensor chip. While at both companies, Dr. Lin
developed extensive experience and a successful track
record designing and porting production sensors across
multiple foundries. Dr. Lin earned his Ph.D. from the University of
California at Los Angeles, Masters and Bachelors in
Electrical Engineering from National Chiao-Tung
University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He holds several patents
in areas related to CMOS sensor. |
